Recycled wood
Timeless in essence, it is my medium of choice usually associated to a mineral layer of lime and natural pigments; occasionally enhanced with gold or silver leaf.
Animals are a favorite theme: horses, bulls, elephants. The wood is selected with the subject in mind. Unruly streaks will best be suited to express the leathery skin texture of an elephant or a bull, while a soft, polished surface will sublimate the ethereal face of Buddha.
PaintingsIn
line with my decorative murals and wood works, I also create
traditional canvas paintings rich with textures but softened with
glazes, to produce an atmosphere that is both warm and gentle.
